dAknitters’ Welcomes July 2009 with our collection of member’s fiber art work.

=dAKnitters’ monthly project for June theme was “fruit”. We asked our members to create a piece of knitted, crocheted or a combination of both of an item that was fruit inspired. It could have plushies, fridgies, fruit bowls, clothing, jewelry- the list was endless on what could be created. We did ask the item clearly showed its connection to fruit. Not just an item that is “apple red” but for example is an apple. You get the idea!

Here are the pieces that our members created this month:

You will become a fiber fan quickly!

Submitted by our member ~CountessDeSangre answered the call to create a piece inspired by fruit. A fun Apple Coaster was just what we needed! A new addition for a coffee table, a nightstand, a teacher’s desk and so many other nice ways to display and use this piece. I could see a whole fruit bowl of tasty fruit coasters.
