January 2015 Contest!

Don't you wish January was the start of spring instead of the middle of winter? It's FREEZING outside!

Welcome to 2015 everyone! To start off the year with something fun, January 18th marks Winnie the Pooh Day.



Looks like you guys are in for a treat!

This contest includes any character from Winnie the Pooh, or the honey jar he famously loves to seek out.



Now, here are the rules:

- Entries can be of anything you would otherwise be able to submit to the group. The bottom line: have it be fiber art. That includes knitting, crochet, felting, and creations made using fibers.

- Limit 3 entries per person. We know you all create things 24/7, so we cannot accept 10+ entries from one person (even though we would love to see all of them!).

- NEW entries only! You guys create awesome things, so we would love to see you guys create something new just for this contest; it makes it so much more exciting to see what you guys come up with! This includes that the entry must be EXCLUSIVE for this contest, and cannot be submitted to other group contests (that voids the entry being "new").

- You MUST have the group icon somewhere in your description. You can do this by typing : icondAKnitters : minus the spaces.

- Please also state in the description that it is for the January 2015 contest.

- Submit your entry to the folder, "January 2015 Contest". The folder is open today, and will remain open until February 1st.


Now, it's not a fun contest without PRIZES! We have three places for you guys, so here are the prizes for each place.

With all that being said, the LAST day for submissions is January 31st, with the winners to be announced on February 4th (to allow all the judges fair time to judge the entries).
