November 2014 Contest!

Hiya everyone! My, oh my, it's already NOVEMBER! A few things need to slow down!

We all here at dAKnitters have been totally loving what you guys are coming up with for our contests and challenges!

For this month, we are going to give another holiday themed contest of THANKSGIVING!



You can make whatever you would normally create for other folders (i.e. anything knit or crochet).

REQUIREMENTS: It has to deal with something either from Thanksgiving/Fall, or the history of Thanksgiving. Meaning, you can knit/crochet something from a cooked turkey to a pilgrim's hat. If you have any questions, please feel free to ask. We're not strict on what you can make, we only ask that the submission relates to the theme in some way. A big help is to describe how it relates to the theme if it's not obvious by the creation.

Now, here are the rules:

- Entries can be of anything you would otherwise be able to submit to the group. The bottom line: have it be fiber art. That includes knitting, crochet, felting, and creations made using fibers.

- Limit 3 entries per person. We know you all create things 24/7, so we cannot accept 10+ entries from one person (even though we would love to see all of them!).

- NEW entries only! You guys create awesome things, so we would love to see you guys create something new just for this contest; it makes it so much more exciting to see what you guys come up with! This includes that the entry must be exclusive for this contest, and cannot be submitted to other group contests (that voids the entry being "new").

- You MUST have the group icon somewhere in your description. You can do this by typing : icondAKnitters : minus the spaces.

- Please also state in the description that it is for the November 2014 contest.

- Submit your entry to the folder, "November 2014 Contest". The folder is open today, and will remain open until December 1st.


Now, it's not a fun contest without PRIZES! We have three places for you guys, so here are the prizes for each place.

With all that being said, the LAST day for submissions is November 30th, with the winners to be announced on December 4th (to allow all the judges fair time to judge the entries).
