March 2016 Contest!

Hello everyone! Are you having a good year so far?

Things have been great for us here at dAKnitters, and we totally have St. Patrick's Day along with the Spring season in mind. Which brings us to our theme for this contest:

OVER THE RAINBOW!



Unlike the previous contest, this theme actually does have a catch to it - a bit of a challenge, if you will. What's the challenge? The entry, no matter what it is, has to have at least three different colours in it. It can be from three completely different colours, or different shades of one colour (i.e. If you still have red left over from February, you can submit something that's red, pink, and purple. ).



Now, here are the rules:

- Entries can be of anything you would otherwise be able to submit to the group. The bottom line: have it be fiber art. That includes knitting, crochet, felting, and creations made using fibers.

- Limit 3 entries per person. We know you all create things 24/7, so we cannot accept 10+ entries from one person (even though we would love to see all of them!).

- NEW entries only! You guys create awesome things, so we would love to see you guys create something new just for this contest; it makes it so much more exciting to see what you guys come up with!

- You MUST have the group icon somewhere in your description. You can do this by typing : icondAKnitters : minus the spaces.

- Please also state in the description that it is for the February 2016 contest.

- Submit your entry to the folder, "March 2016 Contest". The folder is open today, and will remain open until April 7th.



Now, it's not a fun contest without PRIZES! We have three places for you guys, so here are the prizes for each place.

With all that being said, the LAST day for submissions is April 7th, with the winners to be announced on April 10th (to allow all the judges fair time to judge the entries).
